Some phones support wireless charging in the previous generation, but in the latest release of the new models the wireless charging function has been removed, why is this?

The first is that the wireless charging coil module affects the internal space and the battery capacity has to give way to a little less capacity to make room for the coil.

The second is that the camera module of today's mobile phones is getting bigger and bigger, which will invade the centre of the wireless charging position.

The third is the market factor, the mid-range models to join wireless charging, or will impact their own high-end models, in addition to manufacturers can not pinpoint the user demand for wireless charging. Finally, there are cost considerations. The price war has made manufacturers red-handed and it is understandable that wireless charging is the first feature to be cut.

Wireless charging is only one piece of the flagship barrel, used to "fill in" the shortcomings of the flagship experience. Consumers actually want to buy a wireless charging phone, but the feature is only available on expensive flagships, which is a deterrent and creates the illusion that consumers don't care about wireless charging. The accessories market is waiting for a windfall, but because wireless charging phones are still not popular, wireless charging accessories only account for a small percentage of sales compared to wired charging accessories, leading to a significant investment in the speed and number of new products developed by accessory vendors.
